Project Details

We are looking for a power electronics expert who has good command on inverter technology, and it is good to have to understand the flow of the passive circuits as well. Our end client is facing an issue with tripping of the induction furnace in the startup sequence. They are getting multiple firing to the thyristor, and due to that, the inverter will be stopped. To generate the firing pulse, a supercapacitor is used, which is input to the firing circuit. Firing circuit is designed using all passive components.
