Dignifiedme is an outcome of ongoing layoffs and increasing unemployment rates caused by COVID-19 pandemic economic slowdown. A colleague of mine, quite experienced & talented, was laid off owing to the pandemic economic crisis. Obviously, this was not the first incidence of layoff and I was reading news articles of the unicorn companies laying off employees in big numbers. On Linkedin, there were daily many posts of people who wanted help in getting another opportunity. But when something happens to the one who is closer to you, it makes you start thinking. This laid to many questions which were unanswered.
And the list of questions goes on and on. I had no answers to these questions, but was firm that I need to bring in some solutions. It's a myth that a solution has always to be bound to some XYZ technologies, in fact technology is a catalyst to the solution and not the solution itself.
Digging further, I realized that the fundamental problem is linked to the most fundamental quality of human beings. It is not knowledge, self-confidence or anything else, but it is 'Dignity' of a person as a person. We are born humans and that itself implies that we should be Dignified. Lack of jobs, opportunities, comforts and better livelihood shall not hinder my Dignity. "A Dignified life is a birthright and we shall have it."
This led to the birth of Dignifiedme (Dignified Me) Technologies Private Limited. It's a conscious effort to solve the 3 major problems of society and the corporate world.
