To operate the analog UHF-FM transceiver using remote BT-headset or internal mic/speaker. The compressor/expander algorithms, can you estimate if this is digitally just as good as analog? As these algorithms can easily be made with analog circuits, where the compression part is the simplest in a very small IC (SSM2167), that also limits overload into the ADC of the BT-MCU. And the expander (THAT4316) is also simple to make analog, but it could save a lot of components if this can be done digitally. MCU selection is pending. Nordic or Qualcomm or any other. The main task is to convert the algorithm written in the MATLAB codes to the platform we will use. As shown in the attachment, use Low pass/High pass filter and then noise-suppressor. For noise-suppressor, I suggested in the drawing a spectral-subtraction algorithm to start with. Then, make a selection which MAC-addresses will receive new settings. So, for example, using a tool (HTML-5 based tool?), poll a list of MAC addresses in range, (not showing other BT-devices that are not relevant) and then make a selection, and, send a new list of settings to these devices like for example, which UHF-frequency on which channel, other settings like CTCSS code, or change setting of bandwidth (analog transceivers often work with 6.25/10/12.5/20/25kHz channel spacing/bandwidth etc.) or change algorithm setting like different frequency-curve for the equaliser or different companding setting etc. And then, it should work with a remote BT-headset, a simple headset where the play/call button is used to use PTT, to operate the transceiver remotely, or, of course, with a simple PTT-button on the BT/analog UHF device itself. I will be doing hardware development, and you need to do a software programming for this.
