Circuit design for ESP8266 based home automation solution General specification 1. Works with the manual switch as well as through relay. 2. When the manual switch is on still the appliance can be turned off by automation vice versa. 3. Some fail-safe mechanisms, if hardware fails still it continues operating normally. 4. OverCurrent, Over-voltage, etc. protection. 5. On-Board switch mode Power supply included with input AC voltage 230-110V 6. The system should be small and compact as it will fit inside the switchboard. 7. Proper ESP8266 pin selection to avoid on boot start of the devices. 8. Proper headers to program ESP8266. 9. Use of SMD components preferred. Need to design 4 PCBs. 1. To operate 2/3 Electric appliance a. Max relay/Device current 10A at 230V 2. To operate 3 devices and control fan speed a. Max relay/Device current 10A at 230V. b. For fan speed control use step regulator reference. 3. Bridge node a. This will be just esp8266 with a power supply. 4. Single High Power Switch a. Max Relay/Device current 30A at 230V. b. Proper protection circuit for inductive load. Need your expertise to design robust and reliable hardware systems. Casing design will be helpful. No need to implement firmware.
